The Rain, it came tonight and just in time for my Acceptance of this betwixt weather was growing thin. Started out slow, a mist, heavy on my mountain. Then to a slight shower. Just enough to coat the skin with a fine moisture. And then, as if from Divine. The pour. An with that A game. Tag through the muddy grass and Puddle jumping madness ensued. With a girl my heart knows. A walk down Main Street. A place we both know. Talking and dripping. And now I sit beneath Warm blankets and home Relieved of some thing that settled between my shoulders.

The trees have caught fire, The leaves have burst into flame, Though there is no heat. The evergreens, however, Retain their green disposition. Even through their neighboring Deciduous brothers ignite. Against the blue autumn sky, Orange, red, and gold blaze Across the hills, Low and rolling Gentle as waves. These flames are peaceful. This fire sings in the wind. There is no smell of ash on the air. Smoke does not mar the sky. There is no death with this wild fire, This is the cycle. This is Fall.

Hey DA!

Hey, DA. Just wanted to say howdy. Hope your new year is shaping up. Mine began with a really nice three week visit from my Texan boyfriend, Michael. Unfortunately it ended with tears and goodbyes and promises of being together again soon. I've managed to scrape together a few poems and may, as my Lit courses advance become inspired to write more and will do my best to post them here. Have a great 2010. Amy

Another Massive Update

Hey adoring *nonexistent* fans. I posted several pieces, both literary and non. Make sure to get up on it. I'm really busy lately with school AND work. Crazyness. I have a mess of a social life (most of it my own fault) AND I JUST GOT BACK MY LICENSE after three months of house-work-and school arrest. =D *excitement* And I'm also craving a subscription. Hm... I'll see about that.

Too many people for your work to be spotted and fucking combed through with a fine toothed comb right off the bat. I like to get used to a work of mine. Read it. Read it to a few friends.
